Makapuu Beach

 

Makapuu Beach is a popular body-surfing beach in East Oahu. Amazing view from the Lookout on top of the hill. Just a mile away is the Makapuu Lighthouse Trail for avid Hikers.

Makapuu and Sandy Beach

Makapuu Beach is a nice spot to stop on our way around East Oahu. Plenty to see here, with black lava, Rabbit Island, and Makapuu Lighthouse.

For so many years we neglected this location until we discovered what beautiful photos we can get at Sandy Beach.
